Spiritual Formation

Guided by Catholic doctrine, spirituality is given pride of place at Cardinal Ekandem Seminary, nurturing students in faith and character.

Catholic Identity

As a Catholic institution, we are deeply rooted in the teachings and traditions of the Church. Our students participate in regular Mass, sacraments, and prayer services that deepen their relationship with God and strengthen their faith foundation.

The Catholic faith permeates every aspect of school life, from morning prayers to evening devotions, creating an atmosphere where spiritual growth is natural and encouraged.

Religious Education

Our comprehensive Religious Education curriculum goes beyond mere knowledge. Students study Scripture, Church history, moral theology, and Catholic social teaching. They learn to apply faith principles to real-life situations and develop a mature, informed understanding of their faith.

Service & Compassion

Following Christ's example, we emphasize service to others as a key expression of faith. Students engage in charitable activities, community outreach, and works of mercy. They learn that authentic spirituality manifests in love, compassion, and service to those in need.

Holistic Development

We believe that true education nurtures the whole person - mind, body, and spirit. Through our spiritual formation program, students develop a strong moral compass, a sense of purpose, and the inner strength to face life's challenges with faith, hope, and courage. They graduate not just as educated individuals, but as young men of faith ready to be lights in the world.
